Homeschoolers have come a long way. We’ve gone from misunderstood to mainstream. We’ve progressed from a minimalist high school education to the rigors of AP classes and research. We’ve earned our place at respected universities.
The reason for much of our success has been that we’ve learned how to explain our choices.
This becomes particularly important if your child will be applying for scholarships or to a selective college at the end of high school. Did you know that a college admissions officer only has between 5-15 minutes to assess your child’s entire folder? The information you give them about your school has to be extremely clear and concise.
Are you interested in how to do that?
I’ll be teaching a live class on how to compile the documents required by the Secondary School Report that is found in most college applications:
- Transcript
- Transcript Legend
- School Profile
- Counselor Letter
If you have children in upper junior high or high school, it is time to learn how to start compiling the information you will need to explain your homeschool.
Won’t you join us on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6-8 Central time? Learn more here.
